Click to expand.I am also having issues with this, except I have a late 2012 Mac Mini with Windows 8 in Bootcamp. I have a Apple Wireless Keyboard and MS Sculpt Touch mouse which work perfect in OSX Mountain Lion. In Windows 8 the performance is unbelievably poor and jittery.
I've noticed that if I have the keyboard and mouse within a metre of the machine then it works acceptably but anything more and it's unresponsive. Does anyone know if there is a problem with BT range in Windows 8, or possible updated drivers? Thanks for any help offered! Bluetooth Problem I'm running windows 7 in bootcamp on 2012 macbook pro and have tried connecting a bose mini bluetooth speaker, my iPad, and a Switch bluetooth speaker.
None have connected successfully. I attempt to add them as devices, which works fine.Windows finds the device and successfully connects to it. But is then unable to install the appropriate device drivers.
I am then given a link to the Broadcom website to download WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software for Windows 7. When I attempt to download and install the software it always stalls on process 1 of 4 (Detect Bluetooth Device) and everything dies there. I have no idea whats going on, but super frustrated!! Any help would be greatly appreciated?!! Thanks everyone, have a great new year!
Dispositivo Periferico Bluetooth Driver For Macbook Pro
This worked for me; it might not work for you. Remember I’m just same random guy on the internet so I take no responsibility for anything that happens to your machine. The Problem As yet (5th Aug 2015) there’s no official support from Apple for Windows 10 running through Boot Camp. So, when I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10, I was expecting there to be a couple of issues.
One of these was a lack of Bluetooth. But, it turns out to be easy to fix.
Get the Driver The driver for Windows 8.1 works with 10, so you just need to grab that. Go to and find your machine in the list. You want to look for the zip file download of the Boot Camp Assistant software.

For me, it was this one: Download that file (it’s pretty big – 882Mb for my one) and unzip that once done. Install the Driver Inside the unpacked folder, go into the BootCamp folder and then into the $WinPEDriver$ folder under that. The driver needs to be installed via device manager so just confirm that the AppleBluetoothBroadcom64 folder is there for now. In Windows, open up device manager (the easiest way to do this is just hit the Windows key and type ‘device manager’ – it’ll be the first result). Expand other devices and you should see an unknown device. Right click it and select Update driver software. Chose the second option on the pop up to browse your computer for the driver software.
Browse to the $WinPEDriver$ from your downloads and select that. Make sure Include subfolders is checked and then click Next and Windows will install the Bluetooth driver for your Mac Book. This works on older hardware.
Brand new hardware does not play nice with bluetooth. We have 1 27″ iMac 2016 and 21″ iMac 2016 running windows 10 and the bluetooth installs fine but randomly stops working for either mouse or keyboard. The bluetooth shows its connected but neither mouse or keyboard will talk with the windows OS.
Device manager shows nothing is wrong. Bluetooth stack shows connected but dead in the water. Rebooting into OSX and the devices work fine. IT may be the newer magic mouse 2 and the bluetooth keyboard use slightly different drivers. I haven’t tried upgrading from 8.1 but we have reinstalled the drivers. Tried third party software and pretty much every thing you could think of and the mouse and keyboard will only ever work for a small amount of time before dying. Any suggestions?
Attention to Cam Ran into same issue with windows 10 Ver 1511 running on mac mini late 2012 with the new boot camp 6. I found that if i went to the windows control panel under Bluetooth then unpaired / repaired and reconnected that the magic mouse and keyboard would work consistently. After my upgrade to the new windows anniversary edition Version 1607 the mouse and keyboard fail to connect completely. We may have to wait until Apple updates boot camp “”””again””” Frustrated I went back to using my wired keyboard and apple mouse disabling Bluetooth completely for the time being.
I also have this problem, and finally solved it. You may refer to following steps: 1.
Check 'computer management'. If the bluetooth equipment is 'Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator' then you must have issue to pair AirPods (error message: no driver), because MS Win7 native BT driver doesn't support AirPods, but Win10 does. Check your PC/latop vender's official support web page, find and download proper bluetooth drive for your chipset module. For HP Probook 640G1, 3. Install the BT driver (it may take 3 minues), and if you see 'Bluetooth Auxiliary' and your BT brand item (e.g. Intel Bluetooth) appear in 'computer management' window, then congratulations. (see pic1) 4.
Ignore the BT equipment without driver. Pair your AirPods and get music and handfree link connected (see pic2). Change your PC/latop sound volume output option to 'Bluetooth Headset'. Enjoy your AirPods with Win7! The unperfect thing on my latop is background noise in AirPods when play. I'm trying to find more versions of BT drivers to improve the sound quality.
